Join us and discover the wonders of Lian Gong
Shi Ba Fa Qigong, a modern creation developed
by a team of Shanghai Qigong masters, traditional
Chinese doctors, and physical therapists.
Lian Gong Qigong draws from the most famous traditional
Qigong sets: Eight Brocades, Sinew Changing Classic,
Five Animal Frolics, and Qigong breathing methods,
to create a comprehensive fitness program.
Lian Gong Shi Ba Fa Qigong has six sets, each containing
six Qigong exercises. Each set focuses on toning and
opening a specific area of the body to give a total
body workout. Widely practiced throughout China today,
Lian Gong Shi Ba Fa Qigong is practiced for general
fitness and strength and to prevent and treat a wide
range of musculoskeletal and internal disorders.
You'll also learn
Hua Shan Qigong, the core Taoist Qigong exercises
developed on Flower Mountain in Shenxi Province, one
of the most famous Taoist mountaintop temples. Contains
the core nine exercises, a special Hua Shan version
of the Six Healing Sounds for energizing and
healing the internal organs and their related systems.
Finally, you will learn Qigong self-massage
techniques for relieving aches and pains, stress and
tension, and treating specific health concerns.
In each weekend, we will teach twelve new Lian Gong
exercises, one new Qigong self massage set, and will
learn and review the entire Hua Shan Qigong core exercises.
THESE THREE
WEEKEND SEGMENTS may be taken either separately or collectively.
No pre-requisites.
Also counts
towards credit for Medical Qigong and Qigong Teacher
Training Certification programs.
